 S/T
I noticed that we don't have a thread for this great release. While ATRU definitely has a much more honed sound, this release has some raw parts the likes of which are rarely seen.

I like A Disclaimer To The Self.
I was actually a tad bit disappointed CTTS didn't play any S/T songs when I saw them. I'd like to hear how they sounded live.

I love the Self-Titled demo/ep. It has some good stuff, real raw.
That remix of Houdini Logic is amazing, haha.

Anyone got any interpretations for Our Need To Bleed? Maybe some literary referencing you noticed? Because all I can manage to figure is that it's essentially about self-harm(I realize it's more than that though).

it seemed to me its about societies constant self infliction of pain. how every step humanity takes seems to further our desire for things that wind up doing us more harm than good. Like in the line
"With stainless steel we took back control of our fate"
this could be looked at in the sense that mans use of machine has given him a sense of control over his own destiny. but that notion is absurd because the point of destiny and fate (similar things in my mind) is that they are preordained. Yet still we continue in this technological race now attempting to extend our lives unnaturally.
"Undaunted by our fragile lives"
also this could be a shot at how through human development and technological advances we've come to harm our own homes. polluting mother earth could be another.
"Scars are forever, a testimony to our needs"
i always thought this was in relation to our destruction of our planet.
anyway thats my spin on this.
