Because it really is THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE. The best we could find last year outside of the venue were strawberries, if I recall correctly. If you have a plan, please share. I will definitely be needing some manfood. Also, it seems that Louise Cyphre won't be playing which is a big disappointment for me. I was looking forward to seeing them again seeing that they've been doing like, 2 or 3 shows a year.

Yeah, BC is a 2 day drive, provided you don't want to sleep during your travel. 36-40 hours by car, I'd say. As for travelling in this country, your best (read: cheapest) bet would be Greyhound. You can get from Vancouver to Toronto in 3 days for ~$100 if you book at least 3 weeks ahead. Get in touch if you somehow end up, y'know, at the other end of the country.

Re: CMARfest 2010 I plan on going by train, as I live quite close (few hours travel only). I'll be taking manfood in a bag, perhaps take a few bbq packages (if I put it in one of those freezer bags with some ice it should be good enough, or maybe a coolerbox?) + one of those cheap ass tinfoil barbecues. How can one live for 2 days during a festival like this on no manfood?
