Because i owe you guys. I can only hope that i provide music that you guys will enjoy as much as the music i download from here. The Modern Day Saint could've been one of the best bands out there. sadly right after they released their record their lead singer had an arythmia on stage. Completely shocked and crippled by this the band did not wish to continue without they're lead singer. But what they left behind is a truly amazing album (well i think so anyway) the lyrics the melodies the different slights of music they have from straight punk tracks to mellow acoustic. Who would've thought an organ could sound so amazing next to some punk guitar and post-hardcore singing? I sure as shit didn't. so i'd like to give you guys for my first upload ever (how monumentous of an occasion) one of my favorite bands and truly one of the best bands never heard

Edit: i actually found something way more amazing. this link is to a pastepunk interview wit tMDS's lyricist and guitarist Jo Urban. It has some of the lyrics for each song (its the best i could do) and he explains what each song means to him and the band.

EDIT: So, while listening to Modern Day Saint, I kept thinking that their lead singer sounded like somebody and I just couldn't place it.

'An Absurd and Unrealistic Dream of Peace '(lol) was also good, because Geoff's voice really became more of an instrument than the center of focus.
The Envy side is really good too, especially the buildup and crescendo in the first track.

Algernon Cadwaller is amazing, they're pretty local too so i've known about them since around this time last year. They're great stuff.
I also love the Thursday/Envy split, too bad I don't have enough disk space for it or anything else.
