Black Heart Rebellion - Monologue

This is their first full-length. They're pretty much our Belgian pride when it comes to screamo(at least, screamo bands that are still active). Think Envy + Amanda Woodward. I'm only halfway through the record though.

Vale of Pnath ep - http://rs175.rapidshare.com/files/10859 ... ot.com.rar
I didn't upload it, but found it and thought of you guys. it's tech. vocals are bland but I know the guitarist and he's probably one of the most amazing dudes ever. and the drums on this one are sick too.
edit: pass is metal-db.

Israeli guy doing Mongolian throat singing over jawharp and other random folk instruments.
The name translates as Matan Maman, but don't ask me anything else (such as track names, album, name, etc.) because I have no idea.
Just listen and be amazed. You have now become the most obscure kid on your block.

I'm finally contributing! zomgz!
tl;dr? click the names of the bands for cd downloads and ignore what I say about them.
Synthetic Elements - five track demo(link). some acoustic-ish ska-ish awesomeness from colorado. quick CD, but always brings me happyness. best listened to when chain smoking cigarettes in your car with friends and driving around.
Yuriko - I Hope Your Cancer Kills You. A sweet cd of ... skramz? i guess you could say it's skrams. a heavier version of Wow, Owls! but more melodic with softer parts. (i'm terrible at describing music, it seems.) Anyway, good tunes from colorado again. they broke up due to their drummer dying a few years ago. (Accedental pill overdose, not his fault; pure heroin bob shit right there.)
Jake Troth - Blind Contours. Maybe you guys know about Glass Casket? He was the guitarist on their lack luster second CD. But don't be afraid, this cd is a nice acoustic set. nice voice, great melodies, okay lyrics. Feel good music that i can't really get enough of.
Cloud Cult - Meaning Of Eight. Ever wonder what life ment? Cloud cult will tell ya in some indie electronica acoustic tunes. Cloud cult is one of the best bands ever, and the fact that when I saw them live they covered Mr. Tambourine man, is a fact that solidifies my thoughts that i'll always be a fan of them. they have many CD's, I decided to up this one for no particular reason. if you guys want more, ask. I have them all.

a. unexpected

glad you like it. heres two more. two more where that came from, too, if i get around to upping them. they put out tons of CDs.
Cloud Cult- Advice From the Happy Hippopotamus - one of their better cds in my mind.
and then, Cloud Cult- Aurora Borealis . Great song about Princes bride in this one. a solid CD for sure.
and for fun: Murder By Death - In Bocca Al Lupo.rar. Murder By Death is super awesome. again, don't know how to describe it. think modern day johnny cash, but more booze and murder and drums and violin.

The Appleseed Cast -- Sagarmatha
http://www.mediafire.com/?z2zmznbbozm
The Appleseed Cast is, in my opinion, one of the most sonically gorgeous bands out there today. They started out and made a large impact with The End of Ring Wars which sounded a lot like Mid-90's indie (SDRE, Mineral), then they progress, had lineup changes, and made one of my favorite records of all time, Peregrine. This album focused much more on the music than the previous album, implementing instrumental tracks, feedback and fuzz, and large, sweeping songs. I remember getting that album for Christmas years ago. Sagarmatha is the follow-up to that, and places even more focus on the instrumental sections and the pure music. It's crushing, it's beautiful, it's powerful, it's transcendent, it's immaculate. This is post-rock at it's finest. Not EitS or modern Mogwai post-rock either. It's always going, ever changing, never repetitive. Think a less dark Have A Nice Life with more instruments and less words.

Haha, whenwewere.wordpress is one of my better friends from high school and the bassist of His Hideous Heart. I got it from Sordo, though.

The Jim Yoshii Pile-Up -- Homemade Drugs
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gu9cmyq539x
Kind of reminds me of early Death Cab. Lonely, forlorn, sad indie rock. Nothing super-innovative, but definitely not bad. The song "Reckless Driving" is pretty rad.

 Re: [Official] Upload Thread
Cymbals Eat Guitars -- Why There Are Mountainshttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=OQTJ56P6I feel like a tool posting this because they've been getting a lot of hype from Pitchfork. Imagine Cap'n Jazz is Majin Buu, and the Z Fighters are every lo-fi pop band you've ever heard. Now imagine Vegetto hasn't come along yet and rescued the rest of the Z Fighters. Now imagine Cap'n Jazz/Buu decide to make music. This is Cymbals Eat Guitars.

 Re: [Official] Upload Thread
I dunno, man. To me it sounds more like if young Gohan were Cymbals Eat Guitars, Goku was Cap'n Jazz, and Piccolo was the epitome of lo-fi pop. And Gohan decided to bust out some jams right before Vegeta and Nappa arrived.
