 Ask Your Own Interview Questions
So apparently I suck at asking interview questions (big surprise ). Anyways, post your interviewesque questions for CTTS here.
Here's what's been answered so far:
What do you guys enjoy doing when you're not making music?
Getting the feeling, Dr. Mario, raising chickens.
If you could play a show anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Pompeii, Chubbyz II, Japan, Australia.
Do you guys have anything in particular you usually do to prepare for a show?
We practice.
Personal Question: How long have Drew and Kathy been vegetarians?
a while.
Personal Question: Are any of you guys married? And if not, will you marry me?
Caleb will do anything to get a green card.
On the new album, are there any new genres of music you're exploring?
Fantasy metal.
And a big thanks again to the band for doing this =)

And also, do you guys just have some serious spelling problems, or does the "Red is a four letter word. Four letter invitation." line from Kill The Switch have a deeper, awesomer meaning?
And also, what/who is...
"Barnard block of Congress" -- Non-Objective Portrait Of Karma
"Marat David" -- Kill The Switch
Also, how old are all you guys?
I doubt that you were 17 when the Pg99 split came out.

I can't answer every questions, only because i don't know all the answers but ...
Red is a four letter word. Four letter invitation
dunno what that line means to drew, but i suppose you could come up with a few interpretations.
Barnard block of Congress
Barnard and Congress are streets that intersect in downtown Savannah, GA.
A Marat David
... is about a painting done by Jacques-Louis David.

Quote: Marat often sought the comfort of a cold bath due to a skin disease long said to have been contracted years earlier, when he was forced to hide from his enemies in the Paris sewers.
Wow.
Thanks for clearing that up. (Haha! Clearing that up! Skin condition!)
I'm totally going to bring this up next time someone at school calls your music mindless and encouraging of violence.

word up. lots of double entendres in the lyrics. a four letter word is pretty much anything considered profane, vulgar, unholy. there's a little more of a clue for you.
we're old now. how old are you?

Damn you and your lyrics that make even more sense when you're told about them!

I found out in Kill the Switch there's also a reference to Goya's The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters..
Yay for art history class :p

Oh, and also, how bilingual are you guys?
Like in Kill The Switch, there's some Spanish or something, and the Latin in Patchwork Neurology.

"El sueno razon produce monsinios" Is the line in spanish from Kill the Switch.
This a referance to the painting "El sueno de la razon produce monstruos" by Goya?
I think it translates into The Sleep of Reason Produces "Monsinios". What does monsinious actually mean? I dont think its spanish..

so I finally figured out a few questions for the band. First, how old are you all, because your music/lyrics are really intense in a way that makes me think you guys are older, but your pictures make you guys look young. Second, have any of you been in other bands either while in Circle or before, or was this just your amazing first band that happened to be revolutionary (to me)?

Are you sure it's monsinious? I can't check the song right now but I thought it was monstruos or something similar. Which is Spanish for monsters.

I'm pretty sure it's monstruos as that's what it is in the painting.

I always thought of "read" when I heard this. Everyone in the band is clearly well-read, so it made sense to me.

I always assumed it was 'red' due to the "Yellow, yellow, yellow" thing right before it.
And because that's what it says on the lyrics inside the CD.

To Kathy:
What's it like touring inside of a man van for weeks at a time?
I heard a rumor that there's a testosterone mist hovering around it at all time.
Although, it'd also be cool if you had your own private little estrogen room.
Full of...
I don't know...
Hello Kitty shit.
It's late, I'm overworked, get over it.
